Prof Carroll has over a decade's experience in caring for renal transplant patients. He is internationally renowned for his work in matching donors and recipients for all types of solid organ transplantation 

He is principal investigator in a number of clinical trials in Transplantation and Chronic Kidney Disease 

A/Prof Robert Carroll graduated from Oxford University in 1999. He is a Senior Kidney Consultant at the Royal Adelaide Hospital and Adjunct Professor (University of South Australia). He is HLA Lab Director (Australian Redcross Blood Service) and Fellow of the Faculty of Science (Royal College Pathologists Australasia)
